Wolf Manor Estate is a small, family run horse farm nestled near the beautiful Champlain Valley in VT. The house, which we acquired in 2004, is steeped in history...being originally built in the mid 1700's and recently renovated. The barn was built in the early 1800's and is in beautiful shape. It is thought that the Estate may have been part of the Underground Rail Road and our land is home to one of the oldest Oak Trees in the State of Vermont. Acquired for breeding our Clydesdale, Drum and Georgian Grande Horses, we are looking forward to living here for many many years and exploring the history of the place. A beautiful area with large lakes such as Bomoseen, Lake St. Catherine & Lake Champlain and views of both the Green Mountains and the Adirondacks. Lake George, with it's historic forts like Fort William Henry: Site of Massacre and Battles During The French And Indian War & where The Last of the Mohicans was filmed, is only a short drive from us. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting to raise horses. Vermont is an incredibly beautiful place to visit and vacation to...Please peruse the links below to learn more about this quaint town and surrounding historic area. |
